Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard is a patent agent with the firm's Ann Arbor office. He joined Young Basile in 2011.

Practice Summary:

Mr. Leonard concentrates his practice on patent prosecution in the areas of software, hardware, electronics, semiconductors and the Internet.

Prior to joining Young Basile, Mr. Leonard was a scientist in the micro technology industry where his research on a variety of products related to the electronics and semiconductor industry resulted in several patents.

Industry Experience:

Mr. Leonard has been involved in product development and commercialization of electronic and consumer products for over twenty-five years. He has held responsible positions at several electronics and computer companies and has consulted for many leading companies in the industry. He has recently focused his career on intellectual property where he is applying his extensive knowledge of electronics, computers, lasers, and optics to prosecuting and litigating patents and trademarks.
