Young Basile Proud to Welcome New Associate Daniel Checkowsky

Troy, Mich., Jan. 10, 2011 Young Basile is proud to announce that Daniel J. Checkowsky has joined the firm and will be practicing in the Troy office.

Mr. Checkowsky specializes in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical and electro-mechanical fields, including motor vehicles, hydraulic systems, medical devices, control systems, optics and turbines.

Mr. Checkowsky received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1981 and his J.D., cum laude, from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in 1996. He is licensed to practice in the State of Michigan and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
