Young Basile to Move Ann Arbor Office to Downtown

Troy, Michigan, June 1, 2007. Young Basile will move its Ann Arbor attorneys from Commonwealth Drive on the outskirts of the city to 301 E. Liberty in downtown. The move is planned for September of 2007. In connection with the move, the firm will be expanding its facilities to accommodate its growing biomedical practice.

Young Basile focuses on emerging growth technology companies and is the only Michigan based law firm with offices in Silicon Valley. “We believe that a downtown location is important to our role as a cutting edge advisor to technology-driven companies,” said Thomas Bejin, the firm’s chairman. “We want to be near to the University, other leading law firms, and venture capital firms. Our attorneys are also excited about being in a vibrant urban environment.”

Young Basile has served the Ann Arbor area for over a decade. It has recently hired Mehdi Ganjeizadeh, a patent attorney from Pfizer, to lead its biomedical practice. With his arrival, the firm will have a staff of 7 in Ann Arbor.
