Molly Basile Markley
Molly Markley is a senior counsel with the firm's Troy office. She joined Young Basile in 1995.
Practice Summary:
Ms. Markley concentrates her practice on trademark, copyright and advertising law. She represents clients in obtaining trademark and copyright registrations in the US and throughout the world. She represents clients in infringement disputes and appears regularly in trademark opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Ms. Markley also advises clients with respect to Internet domain names.
Industry Experience:
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Markley was employed at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Representative Clients:
She represents a wide range of trademark owners, including software publishers, consumer product manufacturers, and internet online service providers. She also advises advertising agencies and other marketing service providers in their development of advertising campaigns for their third-party clients.
