Darlene P. Condra

Darlene Condra is a senior associate with the firm's Troy office. She joined Young Basile in 1993.

Practice Summary:

Ms. Condra concentrates her practice on patent prosecution, with emphasis on mechanical technologies, including automobiles, environmental controls, sporting goods and medical devices.

She has significant experience with international prosecution, overseeing the procurement of patents outside the United States. She works frequently with clients in Asia and Europe to procure patents in the United States based on foreign original applications.

Ms. Condra has successfully handled appeals before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences.

Industry Experience:

Prior to joining Young Basile, Ms. Condra was an engineer and then a patent attorney at General Motors Corporation. During her 20 year tenure at GM, her technical focus included engines and emission controls.

Representative Clients:

Ms. Condra represents many foreign-based clients including a major Japanese automobile manufacturer. She also represents domestic manufacturers of medical devices, automobile components, sporting goods, food service equipment.
